Training Exhibition of Drones for Opposition Forces Unit Is Successful

Desert Heat No Problem for AgEagle Systems

AgEagle Aerial Systems, a provider of full-stack drone solutions based in Wichita, Kansas, announced the successful completion of a training exhibition for the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, California.

The exhibition was a display of the capabilities of AgEagle’s eBee VISION for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) and eBee TAC for multi-spectral imaging and mapping.

The exhibit demonstrated all elements of the aerial systems: drone hardware, sensors, and control software, and also included multiple flights Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS).

The 11th Armored Cavalry is assigned as an Opposition Force whose mission is to train rotating units and prepare them for operations globally.

Units from U.S. Army and Marine Corps conventional and special operations forces, National Guard, Reserve, and NATO partners will be exposed to the use of the drones to support large-scale operations and enhance tactical ISR operations.

Bill Irby, CEO of AgEagle commented, “The extreme heat of the Mojave Desert presents a very challenging environment for electronic platforms to operate successfully. As expected, our eBee VISION and eBee TAC units performed with no issues over three days and were able to conduct multiple Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BLVOS) flights on the standard antenna configuration.”
