Broward County, FL Crew Management Company Adding 58 Jobs

Recent Deal With Finnair Leads To Expansion

Crew management company OSM Aviation says it plans to add 58 jobs through its Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

The move comes after the company made a recent deal with Finnair to staff flights from Europe to Hong Kong and Singapore, according to a company news release.  Cabin staff for these services will be recruited by OSM Aviation’s Asian bases. The two sides have an intention to expand their collaboration over time.

According to a report from the South Florida Business Journal, Bob Swindell, president of the The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, CareerSource Broward, Broward County and the city of Fort Lauderdale, said in a news release that the company's plan to expand in the region "is a good indicator that our efforts in growing Broward County’s aviation/aerospace cluster continue to pay off.”

OSM is planning to begin providing service for Finnair in 2015.
