NBAA 2007: Record Attendance Marks Opening Day

Over 27,000 Attendees Registered... BEFORE The Doors Opened!

Maybe it's the Atlanta weather... or the fact this year's conference of the National Business Aviation Administration marks the 60th Annual Meeting and Convention for the organization.

In any event... it's a record. NBAA tells ANN 27,936 attendees registered for the event... BEFORE the doors at the Georgia World Congress Center opened Tuesday morning. That's an increase of over 10 percent compared to last year's event in Orlando, FL.

Those throngs of attendees will find an equally record-breaking 1,152 exhibitors, providing side-by-side comparisons of their services. Approximately 115 business aircraft are featured on static display at nearby Fulton County Airport... giving attendees the chance to kick the tires, and sit in some of the cushiest leather seats out there.

Over 100 information sessions are being held, as well, on a range of topics of interest to the biz av community.

NBAA 2007 runs through Thursday, September 27.
