ONE Aviation announced that Jinggong General Aviation, the exclusive distributor of the Eclipse 550 and Eclipse Special Edition jets in China, has placed an order for twenty Eclipse jets to be delivered over the next several years.

Alan Klapmeier, ONE Aviation's CEO said, "It is currently believed that China will need 10,000 light aircraft within the next five to ten years to accommodate general aviation's rapid expansion. We are delighted that our partner, Jinggong, is taking the lead position in that market." The Robinson Helicopter Company plans to debut the R44 Cadet, a two-place R44, in the first quarter of 2016. While suitable for a wide variety of utilitarian applications, Robinson developed the Cadet with the training market in mind. With joint engineering efforts accelerating on the Aerion AS2 supersonic business jet program, Aerion and Airbus Group have announced a new agreement that will expand North American-based Airbus Group resources to the AS2 program. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
