Source: Tuskegee Airman, Calvin Spann, once a lieutenant in the Army Air Corps who served in Italy during World War II where he was a P-51 Mustang pilot and flew in 26 combat missions. Spann spoke while visiting Barksdale Air Force Base to meet with aviators and maintainers.
