Aircraft Configured With 50 Seats Will Be Used For Operational
Missions
Embraer Subsidiary ECC Leasing Company Limited delivered an ERJ
145 jet Wednesday to the Brazilian Federal Police Department
(Departamento de Polícia Federal – DPF), fulfilling a
sales contract announced in February of this year. The 50-seat,
pre-owned aircraft will serve with the Operational Aviation
Coordination Department (Coordenação de
Aviação Operacional), in Brasília, the capital
of Brazil, joining another aircraft of the same model that was
delivered in July 2006.
“ECC Leasing is very pleased to deliver this jet to the
Federal Police Department, thus consolidating its involvement with
this important agency of the Brazilian Government,” stated
Paulo Estevão de Carvalho Tullio, Director of ECC Leasing.
“The first jet has been successfully used by the Federal
Police Department and, for that reason, we are confident that this
second aircraft will also be highly useful.”
The airplane will be used by the DPF on new missions arising
from the expansion of its operational scope. The commercial
agreement also includes a service package that will benefit both
this and the first aircraft, increasing the reliability of
both.

“The availability rates for fulfilling our missions, shown
by the first ERJ 145 operated by the DPF was one of the determining
factors for acquiring this second airplane,” said Rubens
José Maleiner, Coordinator of Operational Aviation for the
Federal Police Department. “The ERJ 145 is a robust aircraft,
conceived for high levels of use, and it offers the flexibility we
need to perform our missions in various regions throughout the
country.”
