Aero-Homework: Just Two More Questions... For Now

I have An Aero-Homework Assignment for Each and Every One of You

I have gotten quite a jolt (in a really good way) out of the responses so many of you have provided to the Ten Questions we posed a number of days ago. The info, passion and integrity of your responses have been inspiring... and convinced me now, more than ever, that my plans for the Aviation Transformation Conference are more critical than I had thought. Based on thousands of comments and responses, there is a surprisjng amount of consensus behind the concern that aviation REALLY is in every bit as much trouble as we feared.

OK... aero-life sucks and much of our industry is swirling the drain... what are we REALLY going to do about it? Well; much of that will start to gel at the Aviation Transformation Conference, but if you will bear with me and continue to gift me with your insights and opinion, I can better craft an event that can seek YOUR answers and help build YOUR future in flight.

That being the case, I'd like to hit you with two more questions... and I'd like you to give them serious thought and consideration in your responses to ANN. These two questions bear a close relationship with those we've asked earlier but we want to quantify your responses as a specific subset of these two quandaries... and I think you'll find it a most interesting exercise.

  • First Question... and please be specific and detailed with your responses... if you had to quantify and categorize the Top Three issues keeping aviation from growing and expanding once more, what would they be? And Why???

  • Second Question... We've spent a good deal of time bitching and moaning about the problems we see with the FAA as well as many of the Alphabet Association supposedly serving the aviation world... that being the case, let's stop bitching and quantify what an aviation association, dedicated to the furtherance of the community and business of aviation, needs to do to earn YOUR support. In other words... what should the ideal 'Aero-Alphabet Association' be doing RIGHT NOW to help aviation get its act together? Describe what YOU think needs to be its mission, modus operandi and gameplan...
