Transport Canada Grants TSO For JA95 Audio Controller

Inaugural Product From Jupiter Avionics Will Receive Automatic Acceptance In Europe

Transport Canada has granted CANTSO-C139 Design Approval to Jupiter Avionics Corporation (JAC) for its inaugural product, the 7-person JA95 Audio Controller. The TSO-C139 will be automatically accepted in Europe thanks to its inclusion on the “Common TSO List” within the bilateral agreement between Transport Canada and EASA.

Among the innovations claimed by JAC for the audio panel are the company's new Windows-based product configuration tool defines and changes all adjustable parameters in the audio controller. End user requirements can be programmed in before the unit leaves the factory. Plus, units can be cloned or adjusted in the field without removal from the aircraft. No more trimpots or dipswitches.

JAC also says that all legends are field interchangeable, meaning unit covers many different mission configurations. There’s no need to stock diverse dash numbers to meet different requirements. Now there’s no more waiting (or paying) for customized units to be manufactured.

JAC’s Standard Delivery is 'in stock', and products are ready to be shipped upon ordering. No more requesting delivery dates. The JA95 uses newer technology, has more features and is lighter and less expensive than any comparable product on the market. Units are in stock at Jupiter Avionics and are available for immediate delivery.
