PDW Snags $15M+ In Army Contracts For Drones

Deployment Of sUAS Units In Multiple Theaters Worldwide

Performance Drone Works (PDW) announced it has secured more than $15.3 million in sales and contracts from the U.S. Army to provide its C100 Group 2 Small Uncrewed Aircraft System (sUAS) to support the Army’s “Transformation in Contact” initiative.

The Army recently selected the C100 for its Directed Requirement for Company-Level sUAS.

The C100 provides warfighters a game-changing solution for medium-range recon and tactical air support in complex and contested environments. The Army plans to deploy them in the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), European Command (EUCOM), and the Central Command (CENTCOM) to enhance the capabilities of U.S. forces in those regions.

The C100 weighs just 21 pounds and its modular design readily fits in a rucksack for easy transport. It empowers units to rapidly deploy air support, conduct precision strikes, and gather intelligence, all without the need for external fire support or manned aircraft.

Ryan Gury, Co-founder and CEO of PDW said, "The C100 drone is setting a new standard for battlefield agility and operational impact, equipping Soldiers with the ability to conduct missions autonomously without external fire support,” said. “We are honored to support the Army's critical objectives and proud to deliver a solution that enables the maneuver force with decentralized and dispersed capabilities."

General (Ret.) Tony Thomas, Chairman of the Board at PDW and former Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) noted: "PDW is transforming the battlefield with cutting-edge drone technology. The C100 provides our warfighters with a decisive advantage, delivering unparalleled operational flexibility and survivability in today’s contested environments."
