Textron’s Australian Service Centers Celebrate Five Years

Investments, More Capabilities, Robust Support

Textron Aviation is celebrating five years of establishing its OEM support network in Australia as it builds on the robust service network that serves Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker customers in the region with service centers at Jandakot Airport in Perth, Essendon Fields in Melbourne, and Gold Coast Airport in Gold Coast.

By covering the entire continent including the East and West coasts, all three facilities offer a full range of services for the Asia-Pacific region including repairs, overhauls, and modifications.

To offer customers factory-direct maintenance and support, Textron acquired Australia-based Premiair Aviation Maintenance in 2020. With its team of experts and more than twenty years of experience in aircraft maintenance, Textron Aviation Australia has authorization from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to work on the entire line of Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker aircraft.

Stefan Wenger, Vice President of International Service Centers for Textron Aviation said, "Customers asked for more support in the APAC region, and we delivered by making investments in facilities and bolstering support for the more than 1,400 aircraft operating in Australia.

“Celebrating five years in Australia marks a milestone of which we are incredibly proud, showing our commitment to designing and delivering the best aviation experience for our global customer base.”

Textron Aviation has a strong customer support system around the globe, with 11 North American service centers, nine international service centers, and over 60 mobile service units. These teams include expert service engineers offering maintenance, inspections, parts, repairs, avionics upgrades, equipment installations, refurbishments, and other specialized services.
