NASA has confirmed that the Boeing Starliner will make its flight home without astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. Wilmore and Williams flew to the International Space Station in June for what was supposed to be an eight-day stay. Instead, due to several leaks and thruster issues, they have yet to return. A KC-46A Pegasus from McConnell Air Force Base had an incident while refueling an F-15. The cause and scope of the mishap are under investigation. The tanker involved is a part of the 931st Air Refueling Wing. After the incident, units commented that the aircraft declared an emergency near Travis Air Force Base in California. They were able to

Spacecraft Will Return to Earth Uncrewed

NASA hosted a live leadership conference on August 24, featuring Administrator Bill Nelson. In this, they announced that the Boeing Starliner will make its flight home without astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. As a reminder, Wilmore and Williams flew to the International Space Station in June for what was supposed to be an eight-day stay. Instead, due to several leaks and thruster issues, they have yet to return. While they wait on a solution, they have put themselves to work conducting research, maintenance, and data analysis among the existing ISS crew.

500th US-Produced Airbus Handed off to Delta Air Lines

Domestically Manufactured Narrowbody Passes Milestone in Mobile, Alabama

Airbus handed over a brand-new A321neo to Delta Air Lines, passing a pretty big milestone for their stateside manufacturing. The occasion was celebrated with a modest handover ceremony and photo opportunity, shared by the company's social media...but not a big enough occasion to make it on Airbus Corporate's newswire. Internal company intrigue aside (kidding), the 500th A321neo was born in the USA. That's a funny milestone to have for the quintessentially European airliner brand, who set up the line in Mobile, Alabama in 2015. Back then, the line only employed a few hundred people, a far cry from the 2,000+ that work there today.

Gary Stevens Can Help You Realize Your Dreams

Rex Alexander of Aero News Network caught up with Gary Stevens to chew the fat about homegrown airstrip creation. That’s where Stevens & co. come in, with the “Building Your Dream Airport” project. They help provide additional, real-life guidance to those building an airfield, helping them navigate the regulatory and real-world elements that come i
