Asia's Biggest For Aviation's Finest: Singapore Airshow 2016 Is Underway

Fifth Edition Of The Show Opened By High-Ranking Government Official

The Singapore Airshow, Asia's largest and one of the most important aerospace and defence exhibitions in the world, held at an opening ceremony and welcome reception Monday night at Marina Bay Sands.

Guest of Honor at the event, Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore, officially opened Singapore Airshow 2016.

The Singapore Airshow, in its fifth edition, has evolved and expanded since its first edition to become a key platform to tap into emerging opportunities, engage in dialogues and showcase technologies. The event returns from 16 to 21 February 2016 with a renewed focus on driving global aerospace and defence industry trends and developments.

The biennial event is a platform for high-level conferences dedicated to leading players in the global aviation industry with the Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit (SAALS) as well as co-located events - the A*STAR Aerospace Technology Leadership Forum and the Singapore Aerospace Technology and Engineering Conference (SATEC).
