Helicopter Pilots, Certified Flight Mechanics, AMT’s Land New Insurance Coverage

Individual Liability Not Previously Offered Now Available

Evolution Insurance Brokers says it will make a new “individual” liability insurance product available to the aviation industry. The coverage offers customized, one-of-a-kind, protection plans to helicopter pilots, certified flight mechanics, owners, and fractional owners, among others.

Known as Xinsurance, this coverage is customized and includes a defense for a claim or incidents resulting in a lawsuit. Helicopter pilots have not been offered this type of liability protection, until now.

Rick J. Lindsey, President and CEO, said, “We have over 30 years of experience in the excess and surplus, hard-to-place market. We’ve been underwriting, quoting and providing coverage over the last 6 years. Helicopter pilots are just one class we feel is misunderstood and excluded from traditional carrier plans. We are uniquely qualified to handle all kinds of aviation insurance. Pilots, owners, fractional owners and operators as well as any related business operations.”
