AIAA Brings Togher Government, Biz, Education Sectors
Senior decision-makers and
developing leaders in government, industry, and academia will come
together to examine and debate the issues affecting the aerospace
industry and plan a common strategy to move forward in the next
century of aerospace. Alan Mulally, President and CEO, Boeing
Commercial Airplanes, and Duane P. Andrews, Executive Vice
President, SAIC, will chair the International Air & Space
Symposium that will be held 19-21 April 2004 at the Washington
Court Hotel, in Washington (DC).
With the assistance of AIAA corporate partners such as Boeing,
GE Aircraft Engines, Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney,
Raytheon, and SAIC, we are assured a dynamic program. In addition,
the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), the Confederation of
European Aerospace Societies (CEAS), the International Council of
the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS), and the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) are on board as affiliate partners.
Discussions will include the
creation of a common aerospace vision, aviation safety and
security, aviation environmental impacts, workforce and education,
space, and space policy, to name a few. AIAA Congressional Visits
Day, an International Policy Seminar, and the AIAA Honors Night
Banquet, are special events associated with the Symposium.
