BSN, Nayak Earn EASA STC For Hawker Installations

Equipment Allowed On Hawker 800, 800XP, 850XP

Global satellite logistics provider Blue Sky Network, in coordination with European aircraft maintenance provider Nayak Aircraft Service, told ANN Tuesday of a new STC from the European Aviation Safety Agency. The STC covers Nayak installation of Blue Sky Network equipment on Hawker 800, Hawker 800XP and Hawker 850XP aircraft.

The Blue Sky Network equipment gives operators and passengers access to voice and circuit data connections from as many locations in the aircraft as necessary, providing unlimited versatility for communications in both cockpit and cabin. It also includes an Iridium satellite portable telephone, for use on or off the aircraft. This equipment enables airlines and fleet-operators two-way communications capabilities, to allow for easy management and communications with all their aviation assets.

“Blue Sky Network offers an ideal solution for use on Hawker,” said Herbert Busch, founder and managing director of Nayak Aircraft Service. “Working together, we are committed to the highest quality aviation communication equipment for the industry.”

“We are proud that our equipment continues to meet the stringent STC requirements,” said Jon Gilbert, president for Blue Sky Network. “Working with Nayak on this STC was a perfect fit. They have a tremendous knowledge of the industry -- we look forward to working together again soon.”

Blue Sky Network links enterprises to personnel and assets anywhere on earth over the Iridium satellite network, using its SkyRouter interactive Web portal.
