Work Completed In Past 18 Months In Nebraska And Michigan
In the last 18 months, Duncan Aviation has completed a total of 55 "C" inspections for all Dassault Falcon model aircraft at its Lincoln, NE and Battle Creek, MI facilities.
With a total of 80+ dedicated Falcon airframe technicians on hand to perform inspections and maintenance, the "C" inspections were performed on Falcon 20/20-5s, Falcon 50/50EXs, Falcon 900/900EXs and Falcon 2000/2000EXs.
The "C" inspection is the most comprehensive inspection for Falcon aircraft and operators often maximize downtime by upgrading cockpit avionics and cabin electronics systems, refurbishing interiors or repainting the aircraft. The majority of these “C” inspections had accompanying upgrade work and a few required major corrosion repair. Duncan Aviation is also authorized by Aviation Partners Inc. to install their winglet STC on the Falcon 50/50EX, 900/900EX, and 2000/2000EX aircraft, and has completed the majority of the installations industry-wide.
In addition, the industry is beginning to see the very first Falcon 7X aircraft coming due for their first "C" inspection. According to Ron Grose, Duncan Aviation Falcon Program Manager and Technical Specialist, Duncan Aviation is ready for these aircraft.
“We have been in the Dassault Falcon business for more than 20 years as an Authorized Service Center,” Grose says. “We have the expertise, experience and tooling all in-house that is required for this heavy inspection. With two full-service locations in Battle Creek, Michigan, and Lincoln, Nebraska, dedicated Falcon teams, experienced structures personnel, and large spare parts inventory, there isn’t anything we are not prepared to handle during this inspection.”
Duncan Aviation’s first Falcon 7X “C” inspection is scheduled for input in January of 2016.
