One of the pinnacle model aviation events of the year is coming up and we wanted to make sure that you marked your schedule to be in Ontario, CA, right after the first of the year for the 2018 AMA Expo West.

It will be the 20th annual rendition of the event and, as usual, it will feature the latest products in  radio-controlled model aviation, demonstrations, interactive displays, and exploration of the intricacies of flying model airplanes, helicopters, rockets, gliders, and -- of course, DRONES! Parrot has introduced a new mini-drone targeted at the growing drone racing market. The Mambo is equipped with an FPV HD camera, and comes with the new Parrot Cockpitglasses 2 (FPV goggles) and accompanying Parrot Flypad piloting controller. It is intended to be flown both outdoors and inside. It also comes fully equipped with a range of brand new piloting modes designed for training new and experienced racing pilots, and Parrot Mambo FPV’s new power battery provides up to 10 minutes of flight time. This is so... California... The California Bureau of Cannabis Control has shot down the idea of delivering pot using drones in the state. The bureau released an initial study that outlined emergency regulations being formulated ahead of January 1, when the sale of marijuana will be allowed with proper retail licensing for recreational use. But the bureau was very clear that only trailers or commercial vehicles can be used. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of the AMA Drone Report!!!
