The worsening enmity between the US and Russia took a dive when three Russian cosmonauts aboard the International Space Station posed with flags NASA construed to be anti-Ukraine. Photos were subsequently posted to the Telegram channel of Roscosmos. The images depicted cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev, and Sergey Korsakov holding the flags of the Luhansk People’s Republic and the Donetsk People’s Republic—two Russian-backed separatist regions in Ukraine. The Experimental Aircraft Association has opened its Education Center—originally known as Project 21—with a well-attended, 12 July ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new structure, a two-story, thirty-thousand-square-foot addition to the EAA’s Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is dedicated to the EAA’s ongoing mission of advancing aviation education and training. NTSB Prelim: Cessna 182G

Flight Track Depicted The Airplane Entering A Gradual Left Turn

On June 6, 2022, at 1522 central daylight time, a Cessna 182G airplane, N2118R, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Kenedy, Texas. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) data revealed that the flight departed the New Braunfels National Airport (BAZ), at 1452 and proceeded  southbound toward Kenedy Regional Airport (2R9), Kenedy, Texas.
