First Facility In Montreal In Collaboration With NAV CANADA

CAE, well-known provider of aviation training for pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, and cabin crew, announced its first venture into training of air traffic controllers (ATC) and flight service specialists (FSS), opening its first Air Traffic Services (ATS) Training Center at its campus in Montreal, Canada, in collaboration with NAV CANADA.

The first students began their training at the new facility in October 2024 as CAE plans to train about 500 air traffic professionals by 2028. Instructors deliver initial training for ATC and FSS students using the curriculum and courseware provided by NAV CANADA. NAV CANADA will continue to provide its basic training, specialty courses, and on-the-job training, the latter of which will only be offered by NAV CANADA.
