First of 24 Aircraft Announced At VAI Verticon 2025 In Dallas

Bell Textron announced that air medical service provider Global Medical Response has taken delivery of the first of an anticipated 24 IFR-configured Bell 407GXi helicopters. GMR signed a purchase agreement in late 2024 for a firm fifteen aircraft with an option for an additional nine.

Should GMR complete the purchase of the entire 24 aircraft, its fleet will total 250 Bell helicopters to extend its reach even beyond the company’s operations that currently cover all 50 U.S. states and internationally.

The Bell 407GXi cruises at 133 kts or 243 km/hr while delivering the performance and fuel efficiency for air medical agencies around the world. Its adjustable cabin space and single-pilot IFR capability allows operators to operate in demanding and challenging environments while delivering essential medical equipment needed during medical emergency missions.
