New PR Director For Kissimmee Air Museum And Warbird Adventures

KT Budde-Jones Returns To Florida After Stint In Hawaii

KT Budde-Jones has returned to Kissimmee after four years in Hawaii, helping to open and establish the new Pacific Aviation Museum in Pearl Harbor.

KT left the Kissimmee area in 2005 after representing several of central Florida's aviation attractions for eight years to help build and develop the newest historic site on Ford Island.  KT was joined by her husband Syd Jones, restoration director and curator, who was responsible for the restoration and display of the museum's collection of unique WWII planes in the original hangars that were in the center of the December 7, 1941 attack.

KT and Syd join the new and recently expanded Kissimmee Air Museum located at Kissimmee Gateway Airport.  The Kissimmee Air Museum and Warbird Adventures is housed in two new hangars that encompass almost 30,000 square feet. Their state of the art Hydroswing doors open up onto the airport giving visitors a front row seat to all the aviation adventures and activities that Kissimmee airport has to offer.  KT will be planning special flying events and activities that will encourage aviation enthusiasts to come back time and again to see what's new and happening at both the museum and the airport, located in the heart of Florida.

Syd will be assisting the WWII Fighter Aircraft Foundation with the restoration of their FW 190 (file photo above) to flight worthy status. The rare "Weisse Eins" project is located in the museum and guests will be able to observe the progress of the German warbird when they visit.
