Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center Delivers 4th VVIP Aircraft In 2012

Undisclosed Client Takes Delivery Of Airbus Corporate Jet

Jet Aviation Basel (Switzerland) recently delivered a newly completed Airbus ACJ 319 VVIP aircraft to an undisclosed client operating in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Following a successful acceptance flight, Jet Aviation Basel has delivered a VVIP cabin interior completions project to an undisclosed client. This is the 4th VVIP aircraft delivered by the company this year.

Designed by Pegasus Design, the completed cabin interior was beautifully fit and finished with exquisite veneer and hardwoods accentuated with top-quality upholstery and leathers found around the globe. This was particularly challenging given the aircraft’s notably high ceilings. To achieve this level of customization and elegance, Jet Aviation engineers worked closely with the customer and the designer to ensure structural and electrical requirements were fully incorporated in the design plans before work commenced in the upholstery, cabinetry and sheet metal shops.

“The feedback received on this project is a credit to the team and to the support organizations involved in the project,” said Neil Boyle, Jet Aviation Basel’s vice president completions center. “The Basel Completion Center’s reputation is built on the type of skill, professionalism and craftsmanship evidenced in this superbly finished interior.”

“Everybody involved in the project should be extremely proud of the appearance of this wonderful aircraft,” said Peder Eidsgaard, Design Director, Pegasus Design, London. “The owner is very pleased with the look of the jet.”

In 2012, Jet Aviation Basel has delivered two newly completed Airbus 340s to undisclosed customers, as well as a 319 CJ aircraft. All three aircraft featured highly customized VVIP interiors. One Airbus 340 was designed by Studio E/motions, the other two aircraft interiors were by Andrew Winch Designs.
