Atlantic Aviation Expands FBO Network Into Bermuda

Acquires Cedar Aviation Services at L.F. Wade Int’l Airport

Atlantic Aviation announced the expansion of its FBO network with the acquisition of Cedar Aviation Services Ltd at L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) in Bermuda. Cedar Aviation is well-known among operators who visit the island for its highly personalized service and long-time team members and has earned a reputation for exceptional care and hospitality.

Customers can continue to expect the same excellent service and attention to detail they’re used to receiving even while the transition to Atlantic Aviation branding occurs over the coming months.

Jeff Foland, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Aviation said, “Cedar Aviation has long demonstrated an exceptional level of personalized care and support for aircraft crews and passengers. Their values and service standards align closely with ours, and we look forward to building on the strong reputation they’ve established in Bermuda.”

Atlantic’s new Bermuda acquisition features a 6,440 SF executive terminal and almost 700,000 SF – about 16 acres – of ramp space. The location is the island’s sole FBO for general aviation with ground handling and air cargo services, as well as the full suite of support services for arriving and departing aircraft.

Amenities include concierge services for ground transportation, catering, and hotel arrangements along with customs and immigration assistance. The terminal has a conference room and meeting space, and standard ground services such as GPU, lav/water, international trash, and overnight parking ensure a smooth and relaxing experience for both passengers and crew.

Bobby Femia, Atlantic Aviation Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions said, “The acquisition of Cedar Aviation strategically enhances our international presence and expands our portfolio of island FBOs in leading leisure and business destinations. We are thrilled to now be serving the island of Bermuda.”
