Alpha Aviation Groups Signs MOU For Cambodian Flight School

Will Train Airline Pilots To Fly A320 Airplanes

Alpha Aviation Group, one of Asia’s leading pilot training providers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Negocia Group for the development of plans for a Cambodian Flight Training School and Cambodian airline pilot training solutions.

The partnership is formed at a time when a number of new airlines have started in Cambodia with an increasing number of Airbus A320 aircraft in operation. These aircraft will require a large number of new pilots and Alpha Aviation Group aims to establish a pilot training school in Cambodia to support the domestic airlines by training Cambodians.

The new flight training school will be under the supervision of the Cambodian SSCA and plans are being made to aim to be operational in 2019.

The partnership will also study the establishment of a simulator training centre in Phnom Penh. Alpha Aviation Group is also actively looking to discuss airline pilot training solutions with the airlines based in Cambodia.

“Alpha Aviation Group has been studying the growth of the Cambodian Aviation industry for the past two years and is delighted to be working on establishing pilot infrastructure in Cambodia in 2019," said Cristopher Magdangal, Regional Director Asia Pacific of Alpha Aviation Group.

“We are delighted to enter into a partnership with Alpha Aviation Group, which has demonstrated their know how, their professionalism, international standard as well as long term commitments to sustainable pilot training solutions services," said Thierry Tea, Chairman & CEO of Negocia Group. “It is a natural step to venture into aviation education for Negocia Group and we would be delighted to welcome more stakeholders in our project in order to position Cambodia as a strong regional platform in the aviation industry.”
