Private Airport In Michigan Offered For Sale

'Sky Ranch' Is Last Private Airport In Oakland County

If you've ever dreamed of owning your own airport, and you have about $4 million you're looking to spend, you might want to consider Sky Ranch, a 154 acre estate being offered for sale in southeast Michigan.

Mlive.com reports that the property is the only private airport left in Oakland County, MI. The property has two grass runways, a luxury home and two attached airplane hangars.

Sky Ranch is currently owned by an aviator who has kept vintage planes in those hangars. The listing calls the property "a paradise for naturalists", featuring the airport, flower gardens farmland, orchards and forested areas with its own trail system.

The house is a 3,200 square-foot Colonial Williamsburg design with two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a five-car garage. There is also a 1,500 square-foot guest house.

The asking price is $3.9 million.
