Columbus, OH-based Spirit Aeronautics has reached an agreement with a confidential customer to provide advanced communication upgrades on their Gulfstream G550 along with interior modifications.

“In the modern world, communication is paramount and our customers need to stay connected utilizing different methodologies,” states Tony Bailey, Spirit Aeronautics President & COO. “This project combines advanced Air-to-Ground (ATG) and Air-to-Satellite technologies in addition to Satellite Television to ensure the client remains connected at all times and aware of current world events no matter where they are operating. The project installs the Gogo ATG-4000 Air-to-Ground communication system, the Honeywell AIS-2000 Satellite Television system and the Honeywell HD-710 Satcom system which will be married up to the existing Satellite-based Broadband Multilink (BBML) system interfaced to an amazing array of network peripherals.
