ForeFlight has acquired CloudAhoy, a provider of post-flight debriefing, analytics, and flight operations quality assurance (FOQA) software products at once germane to flight training, business aviation, general aviation, and military aviation operations. +
ForeFlight’s brass asserts the deal strengthens the company’s data analytics tools and services—the lot of which provide a seamless digital ecosystem across all phases of flight. King Schools’ new Flight Instructor Program is designed to allow instructors to track their students’ progress through King Schools courses. The program provides flight instructors with a dashboard by which they and their students are linked—after a fashion. Instructors can invite students to link up, or students can invite their instructors. Middle Tennesee State University has acquired 8 more Diamond DA40 aircraft, growing the foundation of their department by adding even more of their mainstay aircraft.
