Nighthawk Releases Guardian Avionics Pricing, Delivery Plan

Initial Entry Into Large-Format Display Market

Nighthawk Flight Systems announced it will begin delivery of its Guardian Avionics Suite in December 2025. The price starts at $33,200 for one display and $39,900 for the dual display system. The innovative lightweight cockpit display system will be available initially for Part 23 Class I/II, Part 22, and Experimental aircraft.

The Guardian suite is Nighthawk’s entrance into the large-format avionics market that brings pilots an affordable, modern, and scalable cockpit solution. It features the highest definition 3D synthetic vision in the world, together with the most comprehensive collection of display information in today’s market. This includes obstacles, flight environment, traffic, weather, terrain, real-world imagery, and more.

The system’s core, known as NEST, houses each of the system’s individual functions and integrates with Nighthawk’s cockpit displays and existing aircraft systems. The innovative feature about the NEST is that additional functional capabilities can be added or upgraded individually. This eliminates the need to replace the entire system.

Customers can maintain existing functional equipment and easily add or change the installed displays at any time.

The initial system that will be available in December includes up to two surface mounted 11.6-inchFull HD sunlight readable touchscreen displays with integrated tactile controls. The displays connect to the NEST with one single cable interface.

Functionalities include AD/AHRS, TAWS, aviation charts and maps, as well as integration with existing aircraft systems. The Guardian system does integrate with Garmin and Avidyne GPS Navigators. The 7-inch displays and additional features for the Guardian system will become available in early 2026.

Nighthawk has entered into a series of strategic partnerships during the development and testing of Guardian to ensure optimum situational awareness and user experience.

Paul Martin, CEO of Nighthawk Flight Systems said, “As we introduce our first large-format cockpit system, partnering with some of the most respected companies in aviation helps us deliver a truly superior solution. These collaborations not only enhance the Guardian platform today but also pave the way for an expanded suite of capabilities in the future.”

He added, “The interest and support from these industry leaders confirms what we’ve known all along; Guardian is a platform with enormous potential. We’re not just launching a product, we’re building a new ecosystem for pilots who want advanced, integrated avionics, at an affordable price, without compromising on performance.”
