Great Lakes Aviation Conference Expands Maintenance Offerings

Offering A Fully-Credited Program For IA Renewals

The 2006 Great Lakes Aviation conference will expand and enhance its program for maintenance technicians. That word comes from Todd Smith, President of Laurex, the conference's coordinating organization.

In addition to providing a fully credited program for IA renewals, the conference will focus on providing cutting edge educational and training programs targeting all Aviation Maintenance Technicians.

Four Maintenance Symposiums will be held simultaneously on the exhibit floor, facilitating attendance between the sessions and providing technicians the opportunity to speak directly with representatives of the aviation industry regarding newly released products and services.

The Great Lakes Aviation Conference will present, as it has in the past, two full days of IA renewal sessions that provide the necessary hours of trainings to meet FAA requirements for accreditation. Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) will be returning as a supporting sponsor and hosting the 2006 Regional PAMA Olympics Competition.

An inter-collegiate competition will be coordinated by Michigan colleges.

The Great Lakes Aviation Conference will be held at The Lansing Center, Lansing, MI, January 20 - 21.
