Snowbound!

Late Winter Storm Bogs Down Hundreds Of Flights

It's the second major winter storm to blast the Northeast in a week and it's snarling air traffic nationwide, given the ripple effect centered on New York and New Jersey.

At LaGuardia Airport in New York City, at least 115 flights have been cancelled. JFK reports 59 cancellations and delays of at least two hours for flights that might -- just might -- actually operate Tuesday.

Newark Liberty International Airport is battling the snow as well. Departing flights on Monday were delayed by as much as three hours. In all, 275 flights to and from Newark were cancelled on Monday.

As Tuesday dawned, flights to and from airports in Connecticut were being delayed or cancelled. Airport officials promised they would take whatever measures they deemed "safe" as long as the snow continues to fly.
