For BizAv Professionals With Interest In International Ops
The National Business
Aviation Association (NBAA) announced this week that Christopher
Gryskiewicz of ExpressJet in Bloomington, MN, and Arden Potter, a
student at Hampton University in Virginia, are the recipients of
the 2007 ExxonMobil Aviation and the Avitats International
Operators Scholarship.
NBAA and its International Operators Committee offer this
scholarship in conjunction with sponsor ExxonMobil Aviation and the
Avitats to benefit business aviation professionals engaged or
wishing to be engaged in international operations.
The scholarship was announced during the NBAA 34th Annual
International Operators Conference this week. Any individual who
currently is involved or aspires to become involved with
international business aviation operations is eligible for the
scholarship.
ExpressJet's Christopher
Gryskiewicz is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and
aspires to fly internationally. He plans to use the scholarship
funds both to attend the International Operators Conference and
pursue NBAA Professional Development Program-approved classes at
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Arden Potter is a dean's list student at Hampton University and
has worked for many years at an FBO in Antigua. He plans to use his
scholarship funds to continue his education at Hampton and obtain
added pilot ratings.
NBAA offers several scholarships to promote professional
development and business aviation careers.
