Seawind Records Its 50th Order for the Production Seawind 300C

Seawind, Inc. tells ANN that it has received its 50th order for the production Seawind 300C. Dick Silva, President of Seawind, Inc., states “Following EAA Oshkosh, sales have been steady and this milestone has been reached earlier than expected.”

The Seawind 300C is the production version Seawind which was produced in kit form for over 13 years. The 300C is manufactured by Seawind, Inc’s sister company, Advanced Aero Corp in St. Jean-sur-Richlieu, Quebec, Canada. The Seawind 300C will be undergoing certification flight testing the 1st quarter of 2006 as the final stage in the certification process through Transport Canada (TCCA). Seawind is pursuing concurrent certification with TCCA and the FAA. First customer deliveries will start at the completion of flight testing.

“Our pre-production sales program is almost complete.” says Bill Poirier, Marketing and Sales Manager for Seawind, Inc.

“We are pleased with the response from our loyal followers and those who have been introduced to the aircraft this past year. We will continue our pre-production pricing until our sixtieth order. We will continue our ‘no-risk’ ordering policy until certification is complete and customers can have a flight in the certified production Seawind 300C. When the flight testing is complete, the pre-production offering will be replaced by a standard order policy.”
