STICK Around for the latter end of this episode of Airborne… Got question about MOSAIC… EAA Boss Jack Pelton has a lot of info to impart! It's been years since we’ve seen a new AMERICAN powerplant…. Much less one that takes advantage of MODERN technology… but DeltaHawk will be going to production in the first half of next year and helping to modernize GA in a big way. Sadly; we lost Tom last year while Oshkosh 2022 was in the works, after a prolonged illness and we will really miss the guy. But his work lives on and now he has been memorialized with a stunning statue in the EAA Museum. Daher is here… and taking over

Another Excellent Lineup on is on Deck for Oshkosh 2023

This year's EAA AirVenture is shaping up to be the best in a while for those missing some in-person warbird time, with Aircorps Aviation's P-47D slated to make an appearance alongside a P-51C and a dozen vintage Corsairs. If anyone has spent recent weeks humming and hawing over whether or not the trip is worth it, the news might be the piece that finally pushes them over the edge - as long as they know they missed out on Express Arrival passes. Controversial Retirement Age Limit Bump Passes Through House

Airline Pilots See Step Towards 2 More Prime Earning Years Before Retirement

The US House of Representatives passed H.R. 3935, "The Security Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act", which will, among other things, bump the mandatory pilot retirement age from 65 to 67 years of age. The idea of increasing retirement ages isn't anything new, particularly after the 65-year age limit replaced the earlier 63-year pilot max years ago. Reception is uneven, surprisingly enough. Some carrier execs look at projections of a mass retirement wave from aging Baby Boomers with dread, seeing an uncomfortably shallow pipeline of qualified replacements in the industry.
