The 30th annual International Young Eagles Day will be held on 10 June 2023. The yearly event is undertaken to encourage EAA members to participate in the Young Eagles program. In 2023, the EAA is stepping up its support of EAA International Young Eagles Day by hosting a webinar for Young Eagles volunteers. Taiwan’s military news agency released photos of a young Taiwanese pilot conducting a pre-flight inspection of his aircraft. First Orbital Flight of SpaceX’s Starship Imminent

History’s Largest, Most Powerful Spacecraft MAY Launch 17 April

The Federal Aviation Administration, on Friday, 14 April 2023, granted SpaceX final regulatory approval to carry out the first orbital flight test of the company’s Starship super-heavy-lift launch vehicle. The inaugural space-flight will see the Starship SN24 prototype blasted spaceward atop SpaceX’s Super Heavy Booster-7 on Monday, 17 April 2023 at 07:00 CDT. The mission will launch from SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

In April 2023, Taiwan’s military news agency released photos of a Taiwanese military training exercise. Among the photos was a depiction of a young Taiwanese pilot conducting a pre-flight inspection of his aircraft. NTSB Prelim: Beech 58P

Witness Then Looked Up At The Airplane And Saw It In A Left Bank

On March 17, 2023, about 1136 central daylight time, a Beech Baron 58P, N2061K, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Lubbock, Texas. The pilot sustained fatal injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The airplane arrived at Lubbock Executive Airpark, Lubbock, Texas, where several passengers from the airplane were dropped off. About 1130, the airplane engines started, and about 1135, the airplane began its takeoff on runway 35.

A level of constant atmospheric pressure related to a reference datum of 29.92 inches of mercury. Each is stated in three digits that represent hundreds of feet. For example, flight level (FL) 250 represents a barometric altimeter indication of 25,000 feet; FL 255, an indication of 25,500 feet.
