Kestrel Aviation Services In Cottonwood AZ Wins That Distinction
Aeroprakt USA has announced that Kestrel Aviation Services (KAS) in Cottonwood, AZ has been approved as the first US-based Aeroprakt Service Center and Dealer for the award-winning Aeroprakt A22 and A32 aircraft lines.
“We are thrilled that KAS desired to join the Aeroprakt team as our first Aeroprakt Service Center and Dealer. Customers may now choose to have aircraft shipped to, assembled and delivered in Arizona,” said Dennis Long, President of Aeroprakt USA. Long noted that KAS will be able to provide sales, service, training and delivery to customers in the western region of the US.
KAS was looking for a new primary trainer and had conducted an extensive survey of aircraft available in the Light Sport Aircraft category looking for the optimal combination of durability, safety, economy and payload. “At the end of the day, Aeroprakt came out on top. It wasn’t even close,” said Sid Lloyd, President of KAS. The KAS evaluation team was so impressed with the performance of the Aeroprakt aircraft that they immediately began discussions on developing a business relationship with Aeroprakt USA. KAS will take their first delivery of Aeroprakt aircraft within the next 30 days.
"This will provide new capability to meet the needs of our student pilots for an optimal and affordable primary trainer. It also offers them an affordable path to new aircraft ownership if they choose to advance from the A22 as a primary trainer to the A32 as a great cross-country platform,” Lloyd said.
Aeroprakt USA, based in Somerville, TN, imports and distributes SLSA aircraft manufactured by Aeroprakt Manufacturing SP Z.O.O. based in Kiev, Ukraine.
