Integrated FMS Introduced For Eclipse Jet

Innovative Solutions & Support Partners With Personal Jet Company

An Integrated Flight Management System (FMS) has been introduced for the Eclipse Twin-Engine jet by Eclipse Aerospace and Innovative Solutions & Support.

The AvioNG Integrated FMS provides coupled LPV approach, Airway / Victor route navigation, RNP (Auto / Manual), holding patterns and procedure turns, parallel offsets, storage for ninety-nine flight plans, user defined waypoints, nearest airports and navigation aids, OBS mode, present and on-route information. The system includes enhanced graphics such as integrated on-route e-charts, e-charts overlaid on the moving map, freezing levels, winds aloft, stormscope display, progressive zooming, and Canadian NexRad / Metars and TAFs.

“We are pleased to provide this advanced FMS product for the Eclipse Jet through Eclipse Aerospace,” says Roman Ptakowski, President of Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. “Every pilot now will have access to this advanced integrated flight planning and navigation system that enhances safety, increases situational awareness, and allows flight in both Victor route and WAAS GPS RNAV / LPV airspace.”

AvioNG glass panel cockpits supplied by IS&S are installed in over 160 Eclipse Jet aircraft. The system is supported by Eclipse Aerospace Service Centers. AvioNG replaces the AVIO cockpit providing a feature rich system that performs advanced functions such as electronic circuit breakers, complete systems control and monitoring, primary navigation, engine instruments and multifunction display.

“We, at Eclipse Aerospace, are very proud to be able to NOW offer a fully integrated FMS system for the Eclipse Jet”, states Mason Holland CEO of Eclipse Aerospace. “IS&S has really come through with completion of a fantastic product that makes for an excellent addition to the world’s most efficient light jet”

The New Integrated FMS is expected to be released before year end and will be standard on all Total Eclipse Twin-Engine Jets thereafter.
