Soap Star Tossed Off Delta Flight

Jennifer Bassey Most Recent Celeb To Argue With Flight Crew

Another celebrity has been tossed off an airplane for having a difference of opinion with a flight attendant.

The most recent alleged miscreant is 72-year-old Jennifer Bassey, who was removed from a Delta Flight on June 3, according to a report from Hollywoodlife.com. But it was reportedly the FA who was the instigator.

According to TMZ, the soap star was setting in for a trip from New York to Indianapolis, IN, and had taken a pre-flight trip to the lav, and when she emerged, a flight attendant allegedly asked loudly "are you going to flush?", and then lit into Bassey for not washing her hands. The disagreement reportedly got to the point where the FA followed Bassey to her seat, where she said the actress bumped hands with her. The flight attendant reportedly yelled "don't you ever touch me."

Bassy reportedly mouthed "go f**k yourself" back at the FA. Apparently that was a bad move, because the flight crew called police, who escorted the actress off the plane.

The flight attendant accused the actress of assault, but there was no evidence to support that claim, so she was not detained by the police.

It was not reported how she eventually got to the Circle City.
