First New DA40 NG Delivered to Caribbean Island

Aircraft Will Be Placed In Operation In St. Thomas, USVI

Premier Aircraft Sales recently sold and delivered the first brand new Austro Engine jet-fuel powered Diamond DA40 NG to UFLYVI, based in St Thomas US Virgin Islands. UFLYVI is a growing flight school based in USVI with a diverse fleet. Gulfstream G500 And G600 Confirm Performance Updates

The Maximum Operating Speed Of Both Aircraft Is Mach 0.925

Gulfstream's G500 and G600 have demonstrated additional range capabilities through real-time operations. The newly increased range for the G500 and G600 apply to both the high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90 and the long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85. The G500 now delivers 5,300 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nm at Mach 0.90. The Pennsylvania Wing’s first cadet Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) mission pilot hopes to use his interests to help to save lives. Cadet Senior Master Sgt. Mark D. Sedlak II of Butler Composite Squadron 712 received his mission pilot rating during a training mission at Lenape Technical School in Ford City, adding the new rating to the Drone Part 107 commercial license he has held since age 16. “With the help of my grandfather, a certified flight instructor, I have been flying drones since I was 2,” Sedlak said. Aviators Participated In An Immersive Three-Day Simulation

U.S. Navy aviators are already learning how to “fly” the MQ-25 unmanned aerial refueler before the first air vehicle comes off the production line. Four Navy air vehicle operators (AVOs) from VX-23, the Navy’s developmental test squadron, and VX-1, the operational test squadron, recently traveled to Boeing’s St. Louis facility for an immersive three-day simulation designed to train them to operate a flight from start-up to shut-down from the ground control station (GCS) – the MQ-25’s terrestrial or CVN-based “cockpit.”

NTSB Prelim: Bell 206

About 15 Minutes After Departure He Heard A “Binding Sound” And Felt A Reduction In Engine Power

On October 16, 2020, about 1515 eastern daylight time, a Bell 206B, N777CP, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Zephyrhills, Florida. The pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. According to the pilot, about 15 minutes after departure he heard a “binding sound” and felt a reduction in engine power and a slight nose left yaw. He checked his engine instruments and noted no illumination of annunciator lights or engine warnings. The low rotor rpm aural alarm then sounded, and he initiated an autorotation to a swamp.
