Aerodynamics Promotes Andrew Wegman To Chief Pilot

Former Navy Flyer Will Oversee The Company's Pilot Staff

Atlanta-based shuttle operation Aerodynamics has promoted Mr. Andrew J. Wegman to Chief Pilot. Mr. Wegman is a recently retired US Navy Commander with diverse and extensive aviation experience over a 23 year period. Mr. Wegman's honorable military career includes conception, implementation and management of numerous leadership assignments both domestic and internationally.

As Chief Pilot, Mr. Wegman will be responsible for the direct leadership, supervision, and training of the pilot staff, coordinate crew activities with the dispatch department, and to promote the safety pillars inherent with the Aerodynamics Safety Management System. He will uphold company achievements and industry standards / requirements for the company's FAA Part 121 / 135 operations.

"As ADI continues to expand operations in the shuttle market, and expands its full-service aviation offerings we require a Chief Pilot who can adapt and work to maintain ADI's core values with safety being at the forefront" says CEO Scott Beale. "We will look to leverage Mr. Wegman's distinguished military career and his experience at ADI to assist in evolving our flight programs into the future."

Wegman is a graduate of the Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois with a B.A in Political Science. He is also Lean/Six Sigma and Green Belt certified, and a recipient of the Department of Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Navy Meritorious Service Medal; NATO Meritorious Service Medal; 5 Navy/Marine Corp Commendation Medals; 4 Navy/Marine Corp Achievement Medals and numerous campaign and deployment medals. Mr. Wegman formerly held the role as Director of Safety for Aerodynamics and was an integral part in the awarding of ADI's ARGUS Platinum status.
