Multi-Year Agreement For Management Of PW4000 Engines
Singapore Airlines Cargo has signed
a multi-year fleet technical management agreement with Pratt &
Whitney. Under the agreement, Pratt & Whitney Commercial
Engines & Global Services will provide Singapore Airlines Cargo
with powerplant engineering and on-wing fleet management for its
fleet of PW4000 engines.
"As the PW4000 OEM, we are confident in Pratt's engineering
expertise to maintain the best operation for our fleet," said
Singapore Airlines Cargo Senior Vice President of Operations Tan
Kai Ping.
Singapore Airlines Cargo is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Singapore Airlines. It has a dedicated flight network spanning 71
cities in 37 countries. Singapore Airlines operates a network
spanning five continents with one of the world's youngest fleets in
the air.

Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners (GSP) is a total
service provider for engines made by Pratt & Whitney,
International Aero Engines, General Electric, Rolls-Royce and CFMI.
In addition to engine overhaul and repair services, GSP provides
customers with improved engine performance and increased asset
value through a portfolio of services including line maintenance,
engine monitoring and diagnostics, EcoPower engine washes, leased
engines, custom engine service programs, and new and repaired
parts.
