Prince Harry Shows Off Gunnery Skills

Wins 'Best In Class' Co-Pilot Gunner Prize In Apache Helicopter Training

Britain's Prince Harry has taken top honors in his Apache helicopter training class as the best co-pilot gunner. Capt. Harry Wales has already qualified as an Apache pilot.

The person third in line to the British throne has been training for 18 months in the U.S. and the UK, according to USA Today. He is scheduled to continue to fly Apache helos in military exercises in the UK. But he also continues with official duties as a trade envoy, and will travel to the Caribbean and South America in March on a trade mission.

Prince Harry says he wants to return to Afghanistan, where he served briefly in 2007. When it became known that he was stationed there, he was brought back to the UK for reasons of national security.
