Advanced Aircrew Academy Updates IS-BAO Training White Paper

Reflects Changes To The 2018 Standard

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) has published the final release of the 2018 International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) in July 2018.

Leveraging its status as an International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) International Standards Support Services Affiliate (I3SA), Advanced Aircrew Academy has published a white paper on its website detailing the changes to training requirements and recommendations in the 2018 standard.

The complimentary updated IS-BAO training white paper details IS–BAO required and recommended training, including how all that works for the different types of flight departments and flight department positions such as pilots, cabin attendants, maintenance technicians, dispatchers, and schedulers. Now included are worksheets to assist you in determining an appropriate training program for your flight department. Learn more about how the 2018 IS-BAO revision affects your training program.

As promised by IBAC in the Vision 2020 Initiative, the 2018 Standard is and will remain unchanged into the next decade.
