AUVSI Announces 2022 XCELLENCE Award Winners

AUVSI 2022 XCELLENCE Awardees Recognized For Achievements In Operations, Technology, And Innovation

On 27th April 2022, the Association of Uncrewed Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) announced the winners of its XCELLENCE Awards during the AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022 in recognition of organizations and individuals who accomplished significant achievement in operations, technology and innovation in the uncrewed community.

For Excellence in Operations, specifically Enterprise Application, first, second, and third place was awarded to Florida Power & Light Co, Pablo Air Co, and Percepto respectively. Interestingly, while AUVSI is celebrating its 50th anniversary, this was the 5th annual XCELLENCE awards, and the second consecutive year in which Pablo Air Co was recognized for excellence in Operations.

Excellence in Technology was further divided into three categories, each with first thru third place awardees: 1) Enabling Components & Peripherals (which went to Centum Research & Technology, Ampruis Technologies, and Honeywell), 2) Hardware & Systems Design (awarded to Easy Aerial, Stratom, and AgEagle Aerial Systems), and finally 3) Software Design & Coding (to Percepto, Verizon Robotics, and Auterion).

The Innovation prize for first, second, and third place was awarded to Drone Delivery Canada Corp, Wing, and TuSimple respectively.
