Phenom 300 Type Certificate Validated By CAAC

Embraer Has 28 Firm Orders, Five Options For BizJets In China

Embraer Executive Jets announced that its Phenom 300 aircraft recently received the Validation of Type Certificate issued by Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) today at the 9th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2012) in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

“With CAAC's certificate for Phenom 300, Embraer Executive Jets’ five in-service models have been certified by China's civil aviation authority," said Guan Dongyuan, President, Embraer China. "The China market has shown confidence in our aircraft with 28 firm orders and five options for business aircraft in this developing market. The Phenom 300 strikes the finest balance of outstanding performance, stylish design and range of any aircraft in its class and meets the needs of many customers from the entry-level to ultra-large business jet.”

The light Phenom 300 accommodates up to 11 occupants. With a range of 1,971nm, with NBAA IFR fuel reserves and six occupants, the jet affords such nonstop flight as from Beijing to Manila; from Los Angeles to Orlando; and from London to Narsarsuaq (Greenland).

The aircraft’s Prodigy Flight Deck 300 was developed specifically for the Phenom 300. Human factors, enhanced situational awareness, a glass cockpit with large displays and state-of-the-art avionics allow pilots to experience one the most advanced avionic suites in the market.
