Finnish Aviation Academy Gets JAA Approval For Frasca Sims

Two A36 Bonanza Sims, One King Air Sim

The Finnish Aviation Academy, Pori, Finland, has received FNPT II approval for their two Frasca A36 Bonanza devices and STD 2A and FNPT II MCC approval on their King Air device. The Bonanza devices include Computer Generated Instruments, CGI, and 220-degree visual systems. The King Air also includes Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), and Weather Radar.

The Finnish Aviation Academy is the former Finnair Basic Flight Training School located in Pori, Finland. The school is now jointly owned by Finnair, the Government of Finland and the City of Pori. The trainers now purchased will also be available to customers. Presently the Finnish Aviation Academy provides King Air training support to a growing number of operators in Europe.
