Designated To Care For Customers In North & Latin
America
American Eurocopter announced Tuesday that it has been
officially recognized as the regional hub for maintenance, repair
and overhaul (MRO) for Eurocopter EC135 and EC145 customers in
North and Latin America. This certification covers D-level MRO
activities for all EC135 and EC145 airframes, blades and dynamic
components.
“We continually strive to enhance our repair and overhaul
programs to meet the needs and demands of our customers,”
said Marc Paganini, President and CEO of American Eurocopter.
“This designation reflects our substantial investment in
support & services in recent years and our close cooperation
with Eurocopter.”
The Eurocopter Group has an ongoing initiative to bring its
world class service and support closer to its customers located
across the globe by utilizing its expansive subsidiary base.
American Eurocopter is the largest subsidiary and, as an MRO
regional hub, will offer customers improved service and access to
shorter turnaround times.
“In addition to being in line with Eurocopter’s
global MRO strategy, this is part of the growth strategy for
American Eurocopter and our own goal to increase service and
support to our customers,” continued Paganini. “Now we
are able to bring industry leading service and support to
Eurocopter customers throughout the western hemisphere.”
While this certification highlights the company’s
capabilities for the EC135 and EC145 airframes, blades and dynamic
components, American Eurocopter also provides a full line of
service and support capabilities for Eurocopter helicopters
including the AS350, EC120, EC130, EC155 and the AS365 models.
