Skyborne Technology, a designer and developer of manned and unmanned next generation aviation systems, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Gulf County, FL. The company chose the area specifically to have access to employ manned and unmanned aircraft pilots, skilled manufacturing labor for composites, aircraft aluminum and high bulletproof fabrics. As part of opening of the new manufacturing facility, Skyborne Technology will unveil their Airship and Drone technology to begin testing their aviation products for target markets such as Agriculture Assessment, Communications, Education, Defense, Border Security, Health, Natural Disasters, Policing and Traffic Control.

"Gulf County has been working with all parties on this project for a matter of months. We are very excited to land a project of this magnitude that will diversify our local economy and fits the type of industry that we are trying to attract," said Warren Yeager, Director of the Gulf County EDC.

"Skyborne Technology is pleased to have the opportunity to invest in this great community to provide jobs for future economic growth. Skyborne's technology will implement opportunities for educational and job training programs for Gulf County and the State of Florida as a growing multinational company. Skyborne plans to introduce its Airship and Drone technology at a press conference" scheduled for Thursday at the Gulf County Industrial Park on Highway 71, Yeager said.

"It is our pleasure to become part of the community of Wewahitchka, Port St. Joe and Gulf County, Florida," waid Deborah Cheek, Senior Vice President of Public Relations, "as we plan to create up to 100 jobs to support our manufacturing and flight training for our unique aircraft products to help solve domestic and international objectives."
