CloudAhoy 5.0 Brings New Technology To Flight Debriefing

Version 5.0 Offers Multiple Refinements To the App

A news version of the CloudAhoy app is offering new features to enhance the flight training experience.

According to a report appearing on ipadpilotnews.com, the new version 5.0 offers multiple refinements. They include a final approach analysis display which graphs your final approach showing altitude and airspeed all the way to touchdown. It gives an easy visualization of the approach angle flown, and look at airspeed fluctuations on final approach.

Also updated is the section of the app where flights are logged, It includes a thumbnail of the flight log for quick viewing.

CloudAhoy has partnered with SkyVector to offer worldwide VFR and IFR charts. It allows pilots to use an instrument approach editor to create procedures and waypoints as needed.

The basic version of CloudAhoy is free to download. The premium version including debriefing and analysis tools requires an annual subscription.
