Another Candidate Graces Eclipse

John Kerry Tours Facility On The Campaign Trail

Presidential candidate John Kerry made a campaign stop at the New Mexico headquarters of very light jet (VLJ) manufacturer Eclipse Aviation.

Senator Kerry (D-MA) visited Eclipse as part of his campaign's "Believe in America" tour to make remarks on subjects including the war in Iraq and the economy.  More than 800 people attended the event, including Diane Denish, the Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico, New Mexico State Senator Richard Romero and New York Congressman Gregory Meeks.

"We enjoyed hosting President Bush at Eclipse this summer, and it was a pleasure to welcome John Kerry to our facilities yesterday," said Vern Raburn, president and CEO of Eclipse Aviation.  "It is honor for our company to consistently be recognized as a source of innovation, economic growth and job creation in New Mexico."
