On September 4th, 41 year old Costa flew his Zivko Edge 540 through the VERY narrow confines of two enclosed auto tunnels just outside Istanbul. Coast Guard HC-144 Responds To Multiple Oil Spills Along Southeast Louisiana

Coast Guard pilots are working over time, of late... As part of the ongoing Hurricane Ida response, the Coast Guard conducted overflights Sunday that focused on two locations previously identified for further investigation. Members of the National Strike Force aboard a Coast Guard HC-144 flew over Bay Marchand, south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana, and the Enterprise Offshore Drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico, in a continued effort to track and monitor any threats they may pose to the environment. Coast Guard crews observed no active discharge at the Bay Marchand site or near the Enterprise site.

CHC Helicopter Group revealed the completion of its acquisition of Babcock International’s offshore oil and gas aviation business. Pilot Reported A Loss Of Left Rudder Effectiveness And Left Brake Authority During The Takeoff Roll

On August 24, 2021, at 1858 eastern daylight time, a Cirrus Design Corp. SF50 airplane, N1GG, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Lansing, Michigan. The pilot and 3 passengers were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 business flight. The flight was departing from runway 10R at Capital Region International Airport (LAN). The pilot reported a loss of left rudder effectiveness and left brake authority during the takeoff roll.
